About Us

With integrated steel manufacturing facility, Baldev Alloys Pvt. Ltd. was established in the year 2003 with Sponge Iron manufacturing unit. After implementing 200 tones per day until one after other, the company was looking for Steel making facilities to meet the challenge and to cater steel with BIS specification as passed by Parliament in Gazette. 

Since than implementation of a SMS with Basic Electric Arc Furnace along with 7/14 Meter Radius Concast is in progress. This will produce Alloy Steel specifications of national and International Standards.

The Promoters from reputed Kapoor & Somani family has been business associates since long. They have installed Crushing units, Cold storages, Sponge Iron units with ESP’s to keep strict vigil on the protection of environment & are also venturing for a integrated steel plant in Bastar District.

The Company has chosen astute professionals for its Sponge Iron making as well as for Alloy Steel making & Power generation. 

The Company is in process to install Captive Power Plant to produce energy from their Waste Heat Recovery from Sponge Plants & also purposes to go for Solar Power under Jawaharlal Nehru Scheme of Central Government.

Company has been already allotted Coal block on sharing basis of 78 million reserves in Rajgamar deepsite area (Korba Sector) Chhattisgarh. Company is also in commitment with State Government.

History

Kapoor and Somani family did established well diversified business varying from rice milling, trading in forest produces, drilling borewells for Government establishment as well as private parties, real estate to cold storage chains. Both the group had successfully established a joint venture of two cold storages i.e. Geedam Cold Storage Pvt Ltd. and Devki Cold Storage Pvt Ltd. Baldev Infra Projects (Construction division for group, Housing Projects & Govt Contractors).  They foresee growth in Iron & Steel business and combined to form Baldev Alloys (p) Ltd.
